Ready 2 Level is an intensive action learning programme comprising ten Community Anchor Organisations (CAO) in East Birmingham supported by a dedicated Learning Mentor (LM). The Action Learning Programme is facilitated and delivered by Loconomy Ltd. a Community Benefit Society based in East Birmingham.
The programme will us a variety of methods including:
- Strengths based dialogue to establish each organisation's unique vision, approach and offer;
- Local action planning to develop a key set of actions or levelling up pathway to deliver a project informed by the action learning process;
- Collaborative learning sessions to get to grips with the scope and ambition of inclusive growth and levelling up in east Birmingham and methods and approaches such as community wealth building and asset based community development that lock in growth for the communities and neighbourhoods that make up East Birmingham.
- Networking and peer support across the cohort of ten community anchor organisations.
The project is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity fund and is part of the Communities and Place Pillar. Ready 2 Level has been designed for East Birmingham specifically and will respond to the opportunities emerging from the East Birmingham Inclusive Growth and Levelling Up work led by the Council.
